He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Darga and Katherine Darga (Osga); his wife Patricia M. Plank; his brothers, Ed, Phil, Clarence, Ray and Leonard Darga; his brother-in-law Ronald "Butch" Karkutt; and also Dale Darga.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Gibson (Gary) and Christine Core; his sister Alice Karkutt; and his grandchildren, Danielle Newman (Jeff Breuhan), Nicole Rahe (Brette), Katy Wheelock (Justin), Joshua Core, Mitchell Core (Samantha) and Kurt Core. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Rita Church (8707 Hill St, Maple City, MI 49664). A rosary was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
