He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Black and Doris Black (LaFond); and his brother William Black. He is survived by: his daughters, Brooke Salmon-Black and Abigaile Salmon; his granddaughter Lillian Hastings; his siblings, Sharon Tanis Dodd (Tom), Jeanette Black Dorey (Jim) and Randall Black (Erica); and his sister-in-law Valerie Black. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
