He was predeceased by: his parents, George Covell and Jeanice Covell (Morehouse); his sister Jeannie Cronk; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Grace MacKinnon; and his siblings-in-law, Avis Covell, Bill MacKinnon (Barb), Jim MacKinnon and Pete Shier.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (MacKinnon); his children, Tim Covell (Pam), Mark Covell (Felomina) and Cathy Jano; his grandchildren, Heather Miller (Ryan), Rachel Wyma (Mike), Tyler Covell, Christian Covell, Sophia Covell, Jakan Jano and Joelle Jano; his siblings, Leon Covell, Clyde Covell (Peggy), Mack Covell, Keith Covell (Sheri) and Judy Lang (Leon); and his siblings-in-law, George Cronk, Carol Shier and Dorothy Bishop. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
