We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, at the age of 81, Marylou Roselee Drent of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Cheboygan, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Oben and Delia Oben (Passeno); her daughter Mary Ellen Kerns; her siblings, Ted, Fred, John Oben and Phyllis Rosenburg; and her close friend George LeMunyon.
She is survived by: her sons, Pete Drent (Carol) and Butch Drent (Connie); her grandchildren, Randy Drent (Alethea), Tanya Badge (BJ), Rick Drent (Emily), Peter Drent (Andrea Sageman), Christy Drent (Brandon Stracuzzi), Joe Drent, Jimmy Gates (Elise) and Robert Gates; her sister Lucille Moschke; her former husband Bernard Drent Sr.; and her stepchildren, Rachael Zentz (Chad), Angela VanSyckle (Chad) and Jason Helzer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home (13603 Northland Dr NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
