She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Empie and Laural Empie (Bunnel); her daughter Debra Kay Wheaton; her grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Jessica; and her sisters, Rosalee, Barbara, Carol and Lois.
She is survived by: her children, Leland Mullennix (Christine), Stephanie Shepard, Matthew Mullennix (Michelle) and Danielle DeMaso (Greg); and her brothers, Leon Empie, Lyle Empie and Bernard Empie. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
