She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeVries and Marge DeVries (Duemler); and her brother Gordon DeVries. She is survived by: her husband Eleno Castro; her children, Doris Demorest (Allen) and Elindo Jr. "Lindy" Castro (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Alexandrea Isenhour (Forrest), Danielle Demorest, Arend Demorest, Dean Demorest, Lucas Castro and Isabel Castro; her siblings, Walt DeVries (Bobbi), Greg DeVries (Cher) and Deb Howe (Rick); and her sisters-in-law, Vickie DeVries and Eleanor Dominguez (Diego). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
