With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Thomas Reader III in Cedar Springs, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2025 at the age of 67. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barb Reader (Doherty); his children, Joseph Reader IV, Jaclyn Thompson and Jarod Reader; his children-in-law, Cailin Watts-Reader and Tristan; his brother-in-law Jim Doherty (Debbie); and also, Shannon Hubble, Roxanne Downey (Dave) and Joe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Joe may be given to Corewell Hospice, 1239 E. Beltline Ave., NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 or to a charity of your choice.
