He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Carpenter and Myrtice Carpenter (Dixon); his brothers, Larry Carpenter and Ted Carpenter; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Winkle.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Carpenter (Sonia) and Laura Nozal (Jim); his granddaughters, Nicole Kelly (Ryan), Barbara Jo Carriere, Kaitlyn Ramey (Jake), Stephanie Nozal, Megan Nozal (Kaleb Ehrke), Leah Carpenter and Rebecca Davis; his great grandchildren, Chase, Kyler, Mckenna, Alice, Lannan and Eli; his siblings, Valerie Carpenter Becerra and Robert Carpenter (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Snedeker (Laurie), Marvin Snedeker (Dawn), Mary Carpenter and Carol Carpenter.
