She was predeceased by: her husbands, Burnett Shears, Rufus Murray and Maurice Murray; her children, Judy Brugel, Joanne Sischo, Brian Shears, William Shears and Karen Gebhart; her grandchildren, Robert Brugel, Korey Shears, Nancy White and Andre Dozer; her parents, William Dill and Lilly Dill; and her siblings, Gladys Chittenden, Naomi Wheelock and Walter Dill.
She is survived by: her son Gary Shears; and her daughter-in-law Chris Shears. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church (233 S Main, Cedar Springs, MI 49319). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Solon Township Cemetery (18 Mile Rd NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319).
