With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Townes of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Townes and Anna Townes (Seaborn). He is survived by: his children, Jamie Boshoven (Greg), Jennifer Siminski (Shawn), Jill Townes and James Townes II; his grandchildren, Chase, Christian, Madison, Phoenix, Kennedy, Emma and James III; his stepgrandchildren, Kisewaa and Ayden; and his siblings, Christine Segard, Victoria Cooper, Larry Townes (Elaine), Cheryl Pratt (Gordon), Susanne Mosher (Rodney) and Paul Townes (Tami). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
