He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold C. Pagel and Helen K. M. Pagel (Billingsley); his wife Nancy; his former wife Margaret; his son Frank Jr.; and his siblings, Sharon Lanham and Arnie Pagel.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn VanRiper of Bay City, LoraLee Nauta (Jeff) of Kent City, Dan Pagel (Marilyn) of Comstock Park, Jay Nauta (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA, Trudy Billow (Gale) of Cedar Springs and Tony Parker (Melissa) of Comstock Park.
