She was predeceased by: her mothers, Fern Alderton and Lola Alderton (Irvine); her husband Albert; and her siblings, Alice Kidder, David Alderton and Darrell Alderton.
She is survived by: her children, Frances, Allyn Abel (Marilyn June Kelly), Christopher Abel (Marilyn Ann) and Edward Abel (Anne); her grandchildren, Amy, Chris, Josh, Neil, Justin, Brianna (Brandon), Lexi and Brian; her sisters-in-law, Helen McLaughlin (John), Martha Eppler (Ray) and Edna Fleming; and her sister Lois Lockwood (William). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
