Drent of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Rode and Betty Rode (Zweedyk); her husband Bernard Drent Sr.; her children, Angela VanSyckle (Chad), Jason Helzer and Rachael Zentz (Chad); her extended family, Bernard Drent Jr. (Connie) and Trudy Rode; her siblings, Ruth VanHouten, Betsy McIntyre (David), Mary Wileman, Carol Drent (Pete), Eddie Knuth (Elizabeth) and Loren Knuth (Cheryl); her friends, Margie Swanson (Don) and Pat Brown (Jerry); her brother-in-law Floyd VanHouten; and her son Jeremy Rode (George LeMunyon). She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
