He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlington Abel and Alice Abel (Hall); his wife Frances Abel (Alderton); his children, Allyn Abel (Marilyn June Kelly), Christopher Abel (Marilyn Ann) and Edward Abel (Anne); his grandchildren, Amy, Chris, Josh, Neil, Justin, Brianna (Brandon), Lexi and Brian; his sisters, Helen McLaughlin (John), Martha Eppler (Ray) and Edna Fleming; his mother-in-law Lois Lockwood (Bill); his close friend Paul Anderson; his siblings, Allyn Abel and Gertrude Reynolds; and his brother-in-law George Fleming. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
