She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Parsons and Doris "Alyene" Parsons; her sister Martha Rice; her stepson Trent Hutchings; and her sister-in-law Janet Parsons.

She is survived by: her husband David Hutchings of Cassopolis; her children, Amie Anderson (Justin) of Cassopolis and Scott Coplen of San Antonio, Texas; her stepson Jason Hutchings (Tammy) of Lawton; her grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney, Gavin, Jaycin Hutchings (Kyia) of Three Rivers, Jeremy Hutchings (Katelyn) of Lawton, Abby, Jessalyn Fields of Niles and Samantha Gillespie of Niles; her great grandchildren, Mason, Adelaide, Karlie and Khloie; and her siblings, Phyllis Garber (Leland) of St. Paris, Cheryl Parsons of Cassopolis, Beverly Harris (Tom) of Cassopolis, Linda Francis (Charles) of Brookhaven, Cathy Eberhardt of Cassopolis, Mary Snyder (Jeffrey) of White Pigeon, Beth Lee (Steve) of Cassopolis, Pam Young (James) of North Port, Florida, Steve Parsons of Cassopolis, Dan Parsons of South Bend, Doug Parsons (Amy) of Cassopolis, Matthew Parsons of Dowagiac, Mark Parsons (Betsy) of Cassopolis, Mike Parsons of Osceola and Pat Parsons of Bloomington, Indiana. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
