It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Marie Hunt (Cassopolis, Michigan), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Ballard; her husband Joseph Louis Hunt; her sons, Joseph Hunt, Jr. and Robert Earl Hunt; and her siblings, Margaret Jean Ballard, Wanda Delois Williams, Patricia Curtis, Eddie Ballard, Willie Ballard and Alfred Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hunt of Cassopolis and John Hunt of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Micheal Hunt (Cathy) of Maryland, LaVante Hunt of Florida, Alexis Hunt-Redding of Cassopolis and Tyrese Hunt-Thompson of Cassopolis; her great grandchildren, Tessa Hunt and Kyrie Hunt; her siblings, Velma Danzy, Dorothy Williams and Kenneth Williams; and her godchildren, Jammie White, Carmalita Peake, Paul Peake III, Catrinka Presley and Quasha White. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
