It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Hemminger of Cassopolis, Michigan, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Junior Hemminger; and her sister Kathleen Macklin. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Balok of Mishawaka, Matthew Hemminger (Tina) of Cassopolis and Michael Hemminger of Benton Harbor; and her brother William Fenton (Martha) of Niles. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandsons.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Mary Jo be made to Cass County Animal Rescue, 323 M-62, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
