He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hayden and Hazel Hayden; and his brother John Paul Hayden. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hayden of Cassopolis; his children, Debra Schmid (James) of Waterford, Susan Loux (William, II) of Cassopolis, Sarah Stanage (Nick) of Cassopolis and Douglas Hayden (Christie) of Cassopolis; his grandchildren, Bryan Hayden, Jason Hayden (Erin), Jenna Dernay (Larry), Allison Schmid, Michael Schmid, Daniel Stanage (Mel), Leslie Stanage, William Loux, III (Stephanie) and Samantha Grant (Sean); his great grandchildren, Isaiah Stanage, Emmalee Hayden, Olivia Hayden, Mallory Hayden, Gabrielle Hayden, Jacob Hayden, Alexis Dernay and Lauren Dernay; and his sister Lydia Ann Hayden of Niles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
