She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Owen and Fareda Owen; her siblings, Laila "Lu" Taylor and Robert "Biggie" Owen; and her sister-in-law Wendy Owen.
She is survived by: her son Jess E. Cooper; her grandchildren, Owen Cooper, Breece Cooper and Devon "Arkie" Stracener; her siblings, Cheri Martine, Candy Mack, Tami Owen (Mike Best) and Lynn "Bill" Owen; her sister-in-law Rosemary Owen; and her close friend Teresa Gilliam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
