She was predeceased by: her parents, Lanier Kimbrough and Winnie Kimbrough; her husband James E. Dishmon; her daughter Tamara Dishmon; her great grandchild Chayse Loutzenhizer; and her siblings, Lillian Marie Cheatham, Dessie Rae "Bounce" Rogers, Winnie Magnolia "Happy" Kimbrough, Octavia "Della" Christopher, Tommie Coleman and Van S. Kimbrough.
She is survived by: her children, James E. "Skipper" Dishmon, Jr. of South Bend, Pamela Ann Dishmon of Cassopolis and Valarie A. Pompey of Columbus, Ohio; her children-in-law, Sharla Roth and Tony L. Pompey; her grandchildren, Shawnta Tepper (Jordan), Symone F. Pompey, Anthony J. Pompey, James E. Dishmon III, Amber Reyes (Erick) and Meghan Loutzenhiser (Charles); her great grandchildren, Jonathan Reyes, Erick Reyes, Serenity Reyes, Livee Loutzenhiser and Ensley Loutzenhiser; and her siblings, Gladys Kimbrough, Anne Marion Curry, Charle Davis, Anna Laurie Morris, Lanier Kimbrough, Gene Bracken (Juanita) and John Kimbrough. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Emma be made to the Daughters of Saint Ann, in care of Saint Ann Catholic Church, 421 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
