He was predeceased by: his grandmother Charlotte Harris; and his aunt Grace Howard. He is survived by: his mother Mattie Alexander of Cassopolis; his children, Tamica Harris-Florence (Renaldo Florence) of Cassopolis and Elijah "EJ" Harris, Jr. (Casey) of Cassopolis; his grandchildren, Braydin Collins-Harris, NeaMyah Harris-Florence, NaDyah Harris-Florence, NaRayah Harris-Florence, Renaldo Florence III, Lyonel Chandler and Lachlan Traylor; his great grandchild Thea; and his siblings, Patricia Harris-Curry of Cassopolis, Esaw Harris (Marilyn) of South Bend, Gerald Harris (Annabelle) of Cassopolis, Richard Harris (Teresa) of Niles, Anthony Harris of Cassopolis, Odis Alexander (Doricia) of Elkhart and Alfred Alexander (Paula) of Cassopolis. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the House of Prayer Church (63563 Brick Church Rd, Cassopolis, MI 49031). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
