She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Porter and Mattie Porter; her husband Bernard Laurel Mellon; her son Richard Mellon; and her siblings, Evelyn Stanley, Gertrude McQuiston, Howard Porter, Delmar James Porter, Darrell Porter and Donald Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Canniff (Ronnie Christopher), Patricia Fergison (Ed), Debra Stone, Laura Geedy (Al) and Bernard L. Mellon, Jr.; and her siblings, Dode Zakrajsek and Richard Porter. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
