He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hartsell and Ruth Hartsell (Wright); his sister Patricia Mallo; and his siblings-in-law, Clare Mallo and Katha Hartsell.
He is survived by: his wife Alene Hartsell; his sons, Craig Hartsell (Debbie) and Keith Hartsell (Karen); his grandchildren, Teresa Wellman (Scott), Todd Hartsell (Kimberly) and Kurt Hartsell (Sara); his great grandchildren, Hailey Tietsort (Hunter), Kaitlyn Hartsell, Kiersten Hartsell, Sydnie Wellman, Blake Hartsell, Jered Wellman, Jennifer Blair and Adam Blair; his great great grandchild Madelynn Smoker; and his brother Larry L. Hartsell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
