It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Merritt Furness of Cass City, Michigan, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Furness and Mable Furness (Hess); and his sisters, Charlotte Mellendorf and Vi Pena. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Tracy Bellanger (Jim) of Holland, Tina Rippey (William) of Detroit, Michael Furness (Joann) of Ft. Riley, KS, Todd Furness (Tanya) of Caro, Jonathan Sherman of Cass City and Joshua Sherman (Saraanne) of Union, KY; and his siblings, George Turner (Margo) of Vassar and Val Knowlton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
