It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Koop of Cass City, Michigan, born in Waterford Township, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Rudolph and Bertha Koop (Koch); his wife Betty Inez Wade; his stepchildren, Dennis Powell, Betty Novak, Shelby Peters and Tommy Powell; and his siblings, Willard Taylor, Vernerd Koop, Margert Berkley, Genevieve Eather, Arthur Koop, Betty Hubbard and Jimmy Koop.
He is survived by: his daughters, Martha Koop and Theresa Rico; and his stepchildren, Pauline Fitzpatrick (John) of Cass City and Richard Powell of Bay Port. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
