He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Wood and Cecil Wood (Patterson); his wife Barbara Cross; his children, Mike Wood (Lynelle) of San Jose, CA, Wayne Wood (Kathy) of Cass City and Nancy Johnecheck (Rick) of Boyne City; and his sister Beatrice Rondo. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great-grandchild; eight step great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church or the Thumb Octagon Barn.
