He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Packard and Margaret Packard (Gozdur); and his sisters, Gloria Hall and Henrietta Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Packard; his sons, Robert E. Packard and Joseph L. Packard; and his siblings, George Packard, Lorraine Garza (Luis), Marvin Packard (Barb), Marilyn Flores, Mary Mills and Shirley Hackel (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
