He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Linwood and Louella Bernadine Parrott (Sherwood); his wife Deborah Jean Wentworth; his grandson Seth Nathaniel Thayer; his brother Ron; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Parrott and Carol Parrott.
He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Parrott II (Sara) of Vassar and Lindi E. Thayer (Peter) of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Skylar, Nataya, David, Dylan, Benjamin, Lincoln, Lydia, Grace, Rachel, Evangelina, Samuel and Eden; and his brother Robert Parrott of Decker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
