She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Thiel and Mathilda Thiel (Ducharme); her former husband Edward "Bud" Schwartz; her husband Harold Muegge; her son Joseph; and her siblings, Joseph Thiel, Art Thiel (Ernestine), Jim Thiel (Florence), Leo Thiel (Eleanor), Carroll "Benny" Thiel (Rosie), Paul Thiel (Jeanne), Pauline, Louise Harding (Glen), Eileen Thiel, Marie Lapak (Joe) and Rita Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, John Schwartz (Joyce) of Deford, Peg Schwartz (Pat) of Huntsville, AL, Dorothy Hill (Kim) of Cass City and Ed Schwartz (Deanna) of Keysville, VA; and her adoptive son Alex Nizzola of Gagetown. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
