She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Johnston and Alice Johnston (Flory); her husband Richard Sanford; her stepmother Twyla Johnston; and her brother Don Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Lynn Sanford Hayes of South Carolina, Ray Charles Sanford (Tammy) of Cass City and Alice Hudson of Caro; her grandchildren, Rory, Richard Hayes, David Sanford, Dalice, Lecretia and Hal Hudson, Jr. (Annie); and her brother Fred Johnston of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
