He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Bolton and Pearl Bolton (Maffit); and his brother Daniel Bolton. He is survived by: his wife Saundra Kay Towles; his children, Michael Bolton (Aubrey) of Omro, WI and Kathleen Kaun (Andrew) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his grandchildren, Anelize Bolton, Alexander Bolton and Olivia Kaun.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Cass City.
