She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Fredrick and Ferndale Schmitt (Yax); her son Rodney Cox; and her siblings, Jane Schmitt, Janet Guthrie, Lloyd Schmitt, Charles Schmitt, Eugene Schmitt, Phillip Schmitt and Milton Schmitt.
She is survived by: her husband Garry Cox, Sr.; her sons, Garry Cox, Jr. (Dawn) of Laingsburg and Rick Cox (Tracy Lynn) of Caro; her grandchildren, Austin Cox (Stephanie), Brenden Cox, Angelica Cox, Mickayla Cox, Anastasia Cox, Natasha Gammit, Alley Pero and Brett Droptiny; her great grandchildren, Sylas Cox and Zander Cox; her brothers, Cecil Schmitt (Barb) of Saginaw and Marvin Schmitt of Akron; her niece Kimberly Periso of Cass City; her great-nephew Corbin Ruth of Cass City; her close friend Judy Johnson of Peck; and also Doyle Bradley.
Attendees are also kindly reminded to wear a mask or other facial covering while inside the funeral home. Social distancing and limitations on numbers gathered in the funeral home will be observed.
