He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Brinkman and Alberta Brinkman (MacDougal); his wife Bonnie Lou Jacoby; his daughter Deborah Kay Brinkman; and his brothers, Robert Brinkman, Loren Brinkman (Vera) and Charles Brinkman (Roberta).
He is survived by: his children, James, Jeanne Brinkman and Walt Swiastyn; his grandchildren, Austin, Heather Brinkman, Anthony, Jamie Brinkman, Corbin, Allison Swiastyn, Katie and Courtney Kemp; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kennedy, Jackson Swiastyn, Kyle, Konner Kemp, Joe Brinkman and Lexie Gleason; and his sister-in-law Betty Brinkman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his special family.
