It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Peters of Cass City, Michigan, born in Caro, Michigan, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Romain (Eldora) and Mary Romain (Weis); her siblings, Lawrence Romain, David Romain, Lorca Diane "Penny" Romain and Peter Romain; and her grandsons, Zachary Hennessey, Dwaine Joseph Peters III and Benjamin Bird.
She is survived by: her husband Dwaine Peters of Cass City; her children, Rebecca Bird (Robert) of Cass City, Renee Brinkman (Michael) of Cass City, Dwaine Peters II (Barbara) of Cass City, Rochelle Brown (Paul) of Cass City and Virgil Peters (Amy) of Cass City; her grandchildren, Benjamin Hennessey (Jamie), Nathan Hennessey (Amber), Aimee McIntosh (Justin), Anna Bird, Kristen Bird, Chloe Kikanobic (Dennis), Ian Bird, Heather Franzel, Heidi Lyne Pomeroy, Melissa Erla, David Erla, Jessica Peters, Mason Brown, Justin Peters and Emily Peters; her siblings, Mary Jo Ward (Robert) of Caro, Clyde Romain (Connie) of Cass City and Tom Romain (Betsy) of Spring Lake; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Romain and Kathy Romain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Social distancing and limitations on numbers gathered in the funeral home and church will be observed. Attendees are also kindly reminded to wear a mask or facial covering.
