He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Auten and Etta Mae Auten (Collins); his wife Donna Jean Bader; his in-laws, Lloyd and Irene Bader; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Warner, Robert Bader (Shirley), Dale Bader, Arthur Caister, Gene Chapin, Newell Hubbard and Wanda Parrott (Ronald).
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Bedford (Riggs) of Center Line, JulAnn Kuenzli (Ronald) of Deford, Colleen Sweeney (Terry) of Cass City, Geraldine Auten of Center Line and Brenda Kawecki; his grandchildren, Andrea Bedford, Holly Wilson (Edward), Emily Kuenzli (Kameron Bagley), Katelyn Sanders (Ben), Jennifer Hubble (Ron), Rebecca Stein (James) and Heather Walther (Steven); his great grandchildren, Johanna, Taylor, Johnathon, Landon, Harper, Aubree, Payton, Mason, Wyatt, Gracelyn, Mary-Jane and Brooklyn; his sister Kathleen Warner of Vassar; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Caister of Cass City, Helen Hubbard of Cass City, Audrey Halas of Royal Oak and Sandra Bader of Cass City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at 5100 Cemetery Rd, Cass City, MI 48726.
