Georgene Helen Wells Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgene Helen Wells of Cass City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Georgene Helen Wells to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tate and Ruth Tate (Leeson); her husband Clyde Eugene Wells; her grandchildren, Gabriella Wells and Jedidiah Wells; and her siblings, Raymond Tate and Jean Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Wells (Charla) of Riviera Beach, FL, Sandy Sherman of Cass City, Sheryl Parker (Jeff) of Colorado Springs, CO and Sharon Groenewold (Rob) of Holland; her grandchildren, Micaiah Wells (Sandi), Jobeth Syers (Bill), Nate Sherman, James Parker (Carla), Chase Parker (Kelly), Courtney Knewtson (David), Kaylee Flieman (Tyler), Brittney Steenwyk (Quinten) and Garrett Groenewold; and her great grandchildren, Carter Meinert, Brennon Syers, Dustin Syers, Luke Parker, Noah Parker, Brooke Parker and Elliot Flieman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Cass City (6420 Houghton St, Cass City, MI 48726).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Elevator Fund.
