He was predeceased by: his parents, George Remsing and Martha Remsing (Forstner); and his siblings, Tom, Jim, John Remsing and Margaret Cooley (Charles).
He is survived by: his wife Cora Mae Ballard; his children, Lena Remsing of Ubly, Martha Remsing, Margaret Remsing of Bad Axe, Arthur Remsing (Patricia) of Akron and Ida Remsing; and his siblings, Frank Remsing (Diane), Joe Remsing (Lois), Helen Keyser of Cass City, Lena Lee (Archie) and Mary Smith (Albert "Doc"). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
