He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deering and Vera Mae Deering (Kohl); and his sister Ruth Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Deering; his daughters, Amanda Deering (Robert Pruitt) of Lafayette, IN and Deidre Deering of Lafayette, IN; his sister Rose Marie Dubey; and his pet Carter.
