She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Lewis Leland and Edith Lillian Surbrook (Kitchin); and her siblings, Dean Surbrook, Lois Sugden, Eleanor Dietzel and Ray Surbrook.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne M. Whittaker of Cass City; her children, Linda Miller Jr. (Glenn) of Cass City, Rita Hanby (Jim) of Cass City, Lori Crothers (Tim) of Sarasota, FL and Dean Whittaker (Sandi) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Eric Hanby (Susan), Kurt Hanby (Ashleigh), Bradley Hanby (Sarah), Kyle Hanby (Jessica), Emily Hodapp (Tim), Ben Crothers (Brittany), Jake Crothers (Katelyn), Olivia Hoffmeister (Ben), Jason Whittaker, Claire Whittaker and Elise Whittaker; and her siblings, Rev. Mark Surbrook (Linda) and Sharyn Robinson (Gary) of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Kranz Funeral Home (6850 Main St, Cass City, MI 48726). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
