It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Smith Sr. of Cass City, Michigan, born in Grant Township, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Manton and Celia Bell Smith (Evans); his son Matthew Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Hendricks and Fred Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Smith, Jr. of Cass City and Rhonda Yax (Edward) of Deford; his grandchildren, Dalton Yax (Chenese), Kayla Yax, Arthur Stilson (Autumn), Amanda Krause (Jeff), Tiffany Giraud (Justin), Donnie Smith (Michayla), Sarah Galbenski (Carl) and Victoria Smith; and his great grandchildren, Mikenzee, Ethann, Elicia, Thomas, Alexus, Nevaeh, Alice, Felicia, Avalon, Jordan, Cailey, Matthew, Arthur, Jr., Isabella, Dillan, Olivia, Payton, Jaelynn, Walley, Rylnn and Hayden.
