He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Nicholas and Martha Nicholas (Preba); and his brothers, Eugene Nicholas, Les Nicholas and Paul Nicholas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Merchant (Larry) of Cass City, Mary Tate (Richard) of Cass City, Ken Nicholas of Cass City, Rose Apley (James) of Cass City and Terry Nicholas (Melinda) of Cass City; and his sister-in-law Linda Nicholas of Sanford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
