Bette Lou Hurford Obituary

We bid farewell to Bette Lou Hurford of Cass City, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 7, 2025 at the age of 82. Bette Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bond and Clara Bond (Decker); her granddaughter Cayla Hurford; and her brothers-in-law, William Murphy and Chuck Rubey.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Lynn Hurford; her children, Christopher Scott Hurford (Kelly) and Debbie Seibel; her grandchildren, David Seibel (Katie), Grant Hurford (Emma), Jenilee McCombs (Ashton) and Rebekah Warren (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Emmett, Ellery and Nathan; and her sisters, Karen Ann Damm (Robert) and Susan Rubey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Kranz Funeral Home (6850 Main St, Cass City, MI 48726). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church and Caro Baptist Church.
