He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Veronica Rothfuss. He is survived by: his parents, Alan A. Stephenson and Colleen Stephenson (Crilly) of Cadillac; his wife Vicky Rothfuss Taylor of Cass City; his daughter Vanessa Taylor of Cass City; his brothers, Mark Stephenson of Indian River and Michael Stephenson of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Evalynn Sabo, Quinn Sabo and Bristol Sabo; his father-in-law Joseph Rothfuss; and his siblings-in-law, Joey Rothfuss (Karen), Chris Rothfuss (Sarah), Kathy Reyna (Miguel) and Ellen Rothfuss. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
