He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Hutchinson and Iva Hutchinson (Deneen); and his brothers, Otis and Claude Hutchinson. He is survived by: his children, Karen Hutchinson of Cass City, Mark Martin (Betsy) of Cass City, Dave Martin (Cyndi) of Cass City, David Hutchinson (Stephanie) of Cass City, Christine Peplinski (Terry) of Ubly and Sandi Wright (Steve) of Cass City; his stepchildren, Steve Bouverette (Karen) of Elkton and Lori Kerkau (Deb Bimer) of Bay City; and his sisters, Reva Dillon of Cass City, Mary Ellen Betzel (Frank) of Livonia and Jane Phillips (Don) of Deford. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
