She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Tauriainen and Saima Tauriainen (Heikkinen); her son Dennis Kallio; and her siblings, Wesley, Paul, Roland, Wallace, Eleanor and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Kallio (Barbara Marcell) of Caspian, MI and Carol Stolberg of Comstock Park, MI; and her granddaughter Gina Kallio of Rhinelander, WI. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Laila's honor to the Northwoods Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
