He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry E. Martens and Donna Martens-Lamorandier (Afton); his stepfather William Lamorandier; and his father-in-law John L. Kriger. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Martens (Kriger); his sons, Jason Martens and Steven Martens (Holly); his grandchildren, Cooper Martens and Tessa Martens; his mother-in-law Doris Kriger; his brothers, Rick Martens (Diane) and Randy Martens (Deanna); his sister-in-law Susan Anderson (Kenneth); and his stepsiblings, Mary Hansen (Mike), Mark Lamorandier, David Lamorandier (Karina) and Paul Lamorandier (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
