He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shaw and Lena Shaw (Koch); his sister Darlene Nichols (Shaw); and his cousin Donna Blades. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Westervelt; his daughters, Karilynn Shaw and Kelly Brancheau (Leo); and his grandchildren, Nicole Parish (Charlie), Jacob Brancheau (Sarah), Ben Molter and Alec Molter.
