She was predeceased by: her husband Maynard Charles Carter of Caseville; her parents, Joseph Luke and Mildred Marie Gray (Conway); her brother Arthur Gray; her niece Sherry Carter; and her nephew Robert Carter.
She is survived by: her children, James Carter (Julie) of Bad Axe, Robin Fujimoto (Scott) of Dayton and Cheyenne Carter of Caseville; and her siblings, Pearl Carter of Howell and Robert Gray of Linden. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; and 5 nieces.
