He was predeceased by: his brothers, Tom, Charles and William. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Mary Sutton (Tim), Charlotte Kvocka (Dan), Claudia Barber and Maureen Bruce; his friend Ken; his stepdaughter Jody Bergman; his siblings, Walter Dufty (Paulette) and Barbara Meyers; and also, Jay Dufty (Mary), Michael Dufty (Cynthia), James Dufty and Shane Krontz. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
