He was predeceased by: his father Harold Ernat; and his sisters, Virginia and Marge. He is survived by: his wife Amy Poleski; his children, Steve (Carol) of Waterford, Kathy Zacharias (Jeffrey) of St. Clair Shores, Beth Romeo of Clinton Twp, Joanne Murphy of New Haven and Dee Schuster of Harrison Twp; his grandchildren, Alissa, Zachary, Katie, James, Valerie and Alexis Ruby; his great grandchildren, Kate, Benny and Leila; his niece Sharon; his great-niece Kristen; and his great-nephew Nathan.
